Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Bend Christian Academy). They claimed a resounding 48-14 win over the St. Paul Cardinals. The Eagles pushed the score to 41-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cardinals had little chance of recovering from.
A big part of Fort Bend Christian Academy's victory came down to the chemistry between Brayden Tibbetts and his top target Donnie Avery Jr. Tibbetts threw for 360 yards and five TDs while picking up 10.6 yards per attempt while Avery Jr picked up 171 receiving yards and three scores. Avery Jr showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 58 yards.

The Eagles are set to face off against their familiar foe Kelly Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, St. Paul will take on rival Covenant Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
