Baseball Recap: Perham Beats Staples-Motley for Their Eighth Straight Victory

Perham put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Staples-Motley Cardinals. The Yellowjackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by nine runs or more this season.

Avery Guck looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Gavin Griffin was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Bradyn Anderson, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
