Soccer Recap: Riverside Extends Road Winning Streak to Seven

Riverside won the last time they faced Blue Ridge and things went their way on Saturday too. The Vikings walked away with a 4-2 win over the Raiders. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Riverside's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 168th, while Blue Ridge are ranked 387th).

Riverside hit Blue Ridge with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nick Bohenek (2), Jose Sosa, and Mikey Schimelfenig.

Riverside's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 40 goals over those seven matches. As for Blue Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10.
