Baseball Recap: Highlands Takes a Loss

Highlands lost against Rio Vista on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Highlands Scots came up short against the Rio Vista Rams, falling 17-3. That's two games in a row now that the Scots have lost by exactly 14 runs.

Emiliano Rubio was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last eight games he's played dating back to last season.

This is the second loss in a row for Highlands and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Rio Vista, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.
