Bald Eagle Area had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Penns Valley Area Rams on Monday as they made off with a 13-7 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Kaleb Irion made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Irion was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Wyatt Spackman, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Brayden Dubbs was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

Bald Eagle Area's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Penns Valley Area, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bald Eagle Area will take on Bellwood-Antis at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Penns Valley Area, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Philipsburg-Osceola at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mountaineers will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight.
