Volleyball Recap: Rancho Cotate Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Rancho Cotate duked it out with Windsor on Tuesday. The Rancho Cotate Cougars lost 3-0 to the Windsor Jaguars. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cougars have suffered since April 25, 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-13, 25-12.

Windsor found their leader in sophomore Anthony Delgado, who had four digs and three aces. Delgado also set a new season-high mark in assists with 19.

Rancho Cotate dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Windsor, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Rancho Cotate wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Ukiah on the 13th. As for Windsor, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Analy on the 13th.
