Volleyball Recap: Loyal Greyhounds vs. Fall Creek Crickets
On Tuesday, the Loyal Greyhounds didn't have quite enough to beat the Fall Creek Crickets and fell 3-2. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Loyal wouldn't go down easily and took Fall Creek into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-15, 25-23, 20-25, 19-17.
Even though they lost, Loyal was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last six games.
Loyal's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-7. As for Fall Creek, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 28-12 record this season.
As of now, neither Loyal nor Fall Creek have any future games scheduled.
