Treutlen strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Dublin Fighting Irish as they made off with a 16-5 win. While the Vikings didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Ella Roberson made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Those 12 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Treutlen let Jayden Rogers and Taylor Gillis run wild. Rogers went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs, while Gillis went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those three hits gave Rogers a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Maya Brinson, who went 2-for-5 with two runs and one RBI.

Treutlen's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Dublin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Treutlen will take on Tattnall County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dublin, they will face off against Jefferson County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
