Softball Recap: Simsboro Comes Up Short

Simsboro fell victim to Haughton and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Buccaneers, falling 15-0. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Simsboro's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Haughton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Simsboro will challenge Bastrop at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Haughton, they will take on Parkway at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
