Volleyball Game Preview: Dartmouth Indians vs. Barnstable Red Hawks

Dartmouth is 2-8 against Barnstable since September of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Indians will host the Red Hawks at 6:15 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Dartmouth took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Greater New Bedford RVT 3-2. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Barnstable made easy work of Nauset Regional on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-17, 25-14.

Dartmouth's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Barnstable, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Dartmouth was able to grind out a solid win over Barnstable in their previous matchup back in September, winning 3-1. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Red Hawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
