Volleyball Recap: Flushing Has No Trouble Against Newtown

Flushing lost to Newtown on October 1st, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Red Devils came out on top against the Pioneers by a score of 2-0. That looming 2-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Red Devils yet this season.

Flushing's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Newtown, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coincidentally, Flushing and Newtown will both be playing Forest Hills the next time they take the court. The Pioneers will host the Rangers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Red Devils will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
