Volleyball Game Preview: Elkhorn Antlers vs. Standing Bear Grizzlies

The Elkhorn Antlers will head out to take on the Standing Bear Grizzlies at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Elkhorn came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Bennington, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Antlers in their meetings with the Badgers: they've now lost six in a row.

Elkhorn took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-14, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Standing Bear suffered their biggest defeat since October 1st on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Waverly.

While Standing Bear was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20, 25-16.

Elkhorn's loss dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Standing Bear, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-14.
