Llano is 5-0 against Florence since January of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Llano Yellowjackets will square off against the Florence Buffaloes at 7:25 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Llano and five for Florence.

Last Friday, Llano came up short against Ingram Moore and fell 48-37. While losing is never fun, the Yellowjackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1525th, while the Warriors are ranked 707th).

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jaxon Johnson, who posted nine points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Carl Schutte was another key player, putting up seven points.

Meanwhile, Florence had to suffer through a 52-23 loss at the hands of Brady.

Llano's record now sits at 1-28. As for Florence, their record now sits at 8-11.

Llano beat Florence 54-43 when the teams last played on January 10th. The rematch might be a little tougher for Llano since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
