Basketball Recap: Holton Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Holton brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They managed a 59-54 win over the Mason County Eastern Cardinals on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Red Devils as it spelled an end to their ten-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Holton's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Mason County Eastern, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Holton will finish 2024 at home by hosting Wellspring Prep at 1:30 p.m. on December 27th. As for Mason County Eastern, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 61-54 victory against Mesick on the 20th.
