Doniphan had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Clearwater Fightin' Tigers 64-12. Given the Dons' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Fightin' Tigers are ranked 478th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Doniphan pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Clearwater, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Doniphan will square off against Twin Rivers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clearwater, they will take on Greenville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
