Dysart entered their tilt with Mountain Pointe on Friday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Pride. While the Demons didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Ryan Shetterly paced Dysart's offense, picking up nine kills. Shetterly got some help from Jorge Serna and his 19 assists. Shetterly also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Pao Apistar, racking up three apiece.

Dysart's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Mountain Pointe, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Dysart didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Cactus on the 28th. As for Mountain Pointe, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Campo Verde at 5:30 p.m. on the 7th.
