Basketball Recap: Great Falls Central Catholic Takes a Loss

Great Falls Central Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 63-18 loss at the hands of Denton/Stanford/Geyser/Geraldine. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 134th, while Denton/Stanford/Geyser/Geraldine are ranked 15th).

Great Falls Central Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Denton/Stanford/Geyser/Geraldine, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Great Falls Central Catholic will be playing at home against Heart Butte at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Denton/Stanford/Geyser/Geraldine does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
