Softball Game Preview: Ridgewood Rebels vs. Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs

Ridgewood hasn't had much luck against Riverside-Brookfield recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Rebels will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Saturday, Ridgewood didn't have quite enough to beat ITW David Speer Academy and fell 6-5.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Riverside-Brookfield's offense. They came up short against South Elgin on Thursday, falling 10-0. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Riverside-Brookfield's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Ridgewood, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
