Baseball Game Preview: R.J. Reynolds Demons vs. Reagan Raiders

R.J. Reynolds hasn't had much luck against Reagan recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Demons will be playing at home against the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. R.J. Meanwhile, Reagan came tearing into Thursday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 1-0 win.

Reagan pushed their record up to 16-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for R.J. Reynolds, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.

R.J. Reynolds suffered a grim 16-0 defeat to Reagan in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Demons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
