Athens has gone 8-2 against Wellston recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Athens Bulldogs are taking a road trip to square off against the Wellston Golden Rockets at 7:30 p.m. Wellston took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Athens, who comes in off a win.

Last Saturday, Athens strolled past Trimble with points to spare, taking the game 53-34. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, Wellston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-48 heartbreaker at the hands of Federal Hocking.

Wellston's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Athens, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
