Model is 7-2 against Williamsburg since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Rylli Hunt made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Williamsburg earned a 16-11 win over Somerset Christian on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Yellow Jackets.

Model's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Williamsburg, their victory bumped their record up to 4-18.

Model took their win against Williamsburg in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 13-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
