The New Palestine Dragons will challenge the Plainfield Quakers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. New Palestine is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.1 goals per game this season.

New Palestine is headed into the contest having not lost since the 2nd and will look to keep things rolling. Their defense stepped up to hand Pendleton Heights a 3-0 shutout on Wednesday. Considering New Palestine have won eight matches by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Gabrielle Brown and Addison Lindell scored all three of New Palestine's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 26 goals.

Meanwhile, Plainfield fell victim to Carmel and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They came up short against the Greyhounds, falling 8-0. Plainfield haven't had much luck with Carmel recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

New Palestine pushed their record up to 10-3-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those six matchups. As for Plainfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

New Palestine came out on top in a nail-biter against Plainfield when the teams last played back in September of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Dragons repeat their success, or do the Quakers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
