Flag Football Recap: Creekview Beats River Ridge for Their Third Straight Win + How To Watch

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Creekview ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top against the River Ridge Knights by a score of 20-13. For the Grizzlies, this counts as revenge for the 19-12 win the Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

Reagan Mulligan and Kolbi Pesce certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Mulligan threw for 178 yards and one TD while completing 74.2% of her passes, while Pesce picked up 67 receiving yards and one touchdown.

The victory was the third in a row for Creekview, bringing their record up to 9-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.3 points on average over those games. As for River Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Creekview will challenge Woodstock at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Grizzlies 9.3, the Wolverines 8.8) so any points scored will be well earned. As for River Ridge, they will take on Kennesaw Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
