Basketball Game Preview: Bartlett Indians vs. Tantasqua Regional Warriors

The Bartlett Indians will head out on the road to square off against the Tantasqua Regional Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Wednesday, Bartlett didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Narragansett Regional, but they still walked away with a 50-45 win.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Tantasqua Regional, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Everything went their way against Grafton on Monday as Tantasqua Regional made off with a 75-49 victory. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 26 points or more this season.

Tantasqua Regional pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for Bartlett, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4.

Bartlett lost to Tantasqua Regional on the road by a decisive 75-60 margin in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Bartlett avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
