Soccer Recap: Dumas Comes Up Short

Dumas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Canyon Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in February.

Dumas' defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Canyon, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dumas will host West Plains at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Canyon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Borger at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
