Lincoln-Way West is a perfect 6-0 against Sandburg since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Warriors will challenge the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lincoln-Way West took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past Lockport 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warriors have posted since April 26th.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Lincoln-Way West got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 24-26, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Sandburg entered their tilt with Saint Ignatius College Prep on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Wolfpack.

Lincoln-Way West's win bumped their record up to 17-14. As for Sandburg, their victory bumped their record up to 22-3.

Lincoln-Way West was able to grind out a solid win over Sandburg in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
