Horn Lake waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Hernando Tigers, posting a 65-34 win. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 21st, while the Tigers are ranked 214th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Horn Lake has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.3 points per game. As for Hernando, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
