Basketball Game Preview: West Florence Knights vs. Spring Valley Vikings

The West Florence Knights will square off against the Spring Valley Vikings at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. West Florence has now lost 13 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 28.

Last Tuesday, West Florence had to suffer through a 69-41 loss at the hands of Westwood. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 193rd, while the Redhawks are ranked 33rd).

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Spring Valley beat Lugoff-Elgin 62-58 on Tuesday.

Spring Valley's victory bumped their record up to 7-13. As for West Florence, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-20.

West Florence came up short against Spring Valley when the teams last played two weeks ago, falling 81-68. Can West Florence avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
