ConVal had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Plymouth Bobcats with a sharp 10-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won six contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

ConVal pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 11.6 runs this season. As for Plymouth, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. ConVal is set to take on their familiar foe Campbell at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Plymouth will square off against rival Souhegan at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
