Football Game Preview: Warren County Eagles vs. Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy Trojans

For the first time this season, Warren County will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing in front of their home fans against the Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy Trojans at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Warren County extended their winning streak to four on Friday. The Eagles claimed a resounding 48-7 victory over Roanoke Rapids. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Warren County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Graham Hosch out in front who rushed for 37 yards and two TDs. That's the most rushing touchdowns Hosch has posted since back in October of 2024. Amir Gamble also deserves a mention for his punt return touchdown.

Meanwhile, Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy humbled Pamlico County with a 52-8 victory. With the Trojans ahead 44-8 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Warren County's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy, their win bumped their record up to an identical 4-1.

Everything came up roses for Warren County against Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, as the squad secured a 50-16 victory.
