Baseball Recap: Erasmus Hall Takes a Loss

Erasmus Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sunset Park HEAT. Surprisingly, this marked the Dutchmen's third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Erasmus Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Sunset Park, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Erasmus Hall will challenge Grady at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Dutchmen's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Sunset Park, they will face off against Brooklyn Prospect at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The HEAT will need to watch out since the Hawks have now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
