Pinkston is 8-1-1 against Carter since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Pinkston Vikings will head out to challenge the Carter Cowboys at 8:00 p.m. Pinkston's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Wednesday, Pinkston didn't have quite enough to beat Roosevelt and fell 2-1.

Pinkston's goal came courtesy of Juan Mendoza, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Carter earned a 4-2 win over Lincoln on Wednesday.

Pinkston's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9-1. As for Carter, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-9-1 record this season.

Pinkston beat Carter by a goal in their previous matchup back in February, winning 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pinkston since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
