Baseball Recap: Hialeah Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Hialeah's offense. They came up short against the Coral Reef Barracudas on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The loss was the Thoroughbreds' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hialeah fell to 3-1. As for Coral Reef, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hialeah will square off against Coral Shores at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Coral Shores is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season. As for Coral Reef, they will take on Southridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Southridge will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
