Severance came tearing into Saturday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Mesa Ridge Grizzlies. That's two games straight that the Silver Knights have won by just one run.

Karson Beidleman looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.

At the plate, Auggie Dominguez was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Severance now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Mesa Ridge, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Severance didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-4 win against Fountain-Fort Carson on the 29th. As for Mesa Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 17-2 victory against Thornton on the 29th.
