Football Recap: Lindenhurst Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lindenhurst played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the William Floyd Colonials, falling 27-7. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.

Jaquan Thomas was his usual excellent self, rushing for 233 yards and three scores while picking up 9.3 yards per carry for William Floyd. Thomas is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 128 every time he's taken the field this season.

Lindenhurst's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for William Floyd, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Meanwhile, William Floyd is set to square off against their familiar foe Ward Melville at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
