Softball Recap: Ingraham Comes Up Short

Ingraham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 16-12 to the Franklin Quakers. Even if the Rams couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Ingraham's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Franklin, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ingraham is set to face off against their familiar foe Holy Names Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Franklin will take on rival Cleveland at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
