Barnstable entered their tilt with New Mission on Tuesday with 12 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 13. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 52-46 W against the New Mission Titans. Given the Red Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Titans are ranked 126th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Barnstable's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.8 points over those games. As for New Mission, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-7.

Looking ahead, Barnstable will welcome Southeastern RVT at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Mission, they will head out on the road to square off against Swampscott at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
