Recap: Hernando Leopards vs. Nature Coast Tech Sharks
The Hernando Leopards lost to the Nature Coast Tech Sharks back in December of 2023, but the Hernando Leopards didn't allow the Nature Coast Tech Sharks the same satisfaction on Wednesday. Hernando walked away with a 44-36 win over Nature Coast Tech.
Hernando's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tyrah Gary led the charge by scoring 12 points. Another player making a difference was Ayana Kincade, who scored 13 points.
Hernando's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Nature Coast Tech, they bumped their record down to 5-5 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
Hernando won't have much time to rest: their next match is against South Sumter at 7:30 p.m. on January 11th. South Sumter has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 28. As for Nature Coast Tech, they will head out on the road to face off against Hudson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
