Basketball Recap: Richton Takes a Loss

If Richton was riding high fresh off their 72-48 takedown of Mize last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Richton Rebels fell 42-31 to the Forrest County Agricultural Aggies on Saturday.

Richton's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Forrest County Agricultural, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-3.

Richton will head out on the road to take on Heidelberg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Forrest County Agricultural, they will welcome Columbia at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbia is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.3 points per game this season.
