Soccer Game Preview: Northside vs. Coffee

The Northside Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Coffee Trojans at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Northside fell victim to Veterans and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warhawks. The defeat continues a trend for Northside in their meetings with Veterans: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Coffee had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to Effingham County last Monday.

Northside's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Coffee, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
