Volleyball Recap: Timberline's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Timberline waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Mountain View Mavericks by a score of 3-1. The Wolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mavericks, too.

The win didn't come easy: Mountain View scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 23-25, 26-24, 25-19.

Lily Mesevier paced Timberline's offense, picking up 21 kills. Mesevier got some help from Mckenna Satterfield and her 44 assists. Mesevier was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

When it comes to explaining why Mountain View lost, don't look at Hadley Oelkers. Despite the final result, she had 21 digs and one assist.

Timberline's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Mountain View, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6-2.

Timberline wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Madison on the 26th. Hopefully Mountain View paid attention to the Wolves' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wolves at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
