Baseball Game Preview: Kennedy Knights vs. Clifton Mustangs

For the second straight game, Kennedy will face off against Clifton. The Knights will head out on the road to challenge the Mustangs at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Kennedy has given up an average of 9 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Kennedy is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They came up short against Clifton, falling 13-1.

For Clifton's part, Justin Cabrera (11) and Trevor Rascher did most of the damage at the plate: Cabrera (11) scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while Rascher went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Those runs marked the first that Cabrera (11) scored this season. Another player making a difference was Josangel Cruz, who scored three runs while going 1-for-1.

Clifton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Clifton, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.
