St. Cloud won the last time they faced Poinciana and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won ten contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

Nate Muniz looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, St. Cloud let Luis Ecarri and Cole Davis run wild. Ecarri scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2, while Davis went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two runs. The dominant performance also gave Ecarri a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Sean Gallagher, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI.

St. Cloud hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five strikeouts batters in six consecutive matchups.

St. Cloud pushed their record up to 13-5 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Poinciana, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Cloud will host Gateway at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season.
