Basketball Game Preview: Madison Trojans vs. Clinton Redwolves

The Madison Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Clinton Redwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Madison will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Madison is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 82-40 win over Dundee. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Clinton beat Hudson 69-60 on Friday.

Madison pushed their record up to 14-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.9 points over those games. As for Clinton, their win bumped their record up to 6-12.

Everything went Madison's way against Clinton in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as Madison made off with a 60-36 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Madison since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
