Lewisville's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They had just enough and edged the Chesterfield Golden Rams out 53-51. The Lions' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Several Golden Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Reagan Rivers, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. With that strong performance, Rivers is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Terrahjah Robinson, who posted 16 points.

Lewisville's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Chesterfield, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Lewisville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 79-17 loss against Evans on the 27th. As for Chesterfield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-38 defeat against Hartsville on the 27th.
