Basketball Game Preview: Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens vs. Enfield Eagles

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens duke it out with the Enfield Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday... Academy of Science and Innovation will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, Academy of Science and Innovation earned a 51-42 victory over Classical Magnet. The 51-point effort marked the Ravens' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Academy of Science and Innovation to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mohammad Kulaib, who went 7 of 15 on his way to 16 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Lebron White, who went 6 for 10 en route to 15 points and six boards.

Meanwhile, Enfield escaped with a win on Wednesday against Edwin O. Smith by the margin of a single free throw, 60-59. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Enfield is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.5 points per game. As for Academy of Science and Innovation, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1.
