Volleyball Recap: West Clermont Takes a Loss

West Clermont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against the Kings Knights, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 2nd.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-15, 25-14.

Kings was led to victory by Kennady Horsley and Mallory Kirkendall. Horsley had ten digs and two assists, while Kirkendall had four assists and three digs. That's the most assists Horsley has posted over her last six matches.

West Clermont's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Kings, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. West Clermont will face off against rival Turpin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Kings is set to square off against their familiar foe Loveland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
