Baseball Recap: Putnam City North Comes Up Short

Putnam City North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 12-0 to the Edmond Memorial Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 last Monday.

Putnam City North's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Edmond Memorial, the win keeps they at an undefeated 9-0.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Putnam City North Panthers duke it out with Norman Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Edmond Memorial, they will welcome Harrah at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Edmond Memorial has won nine straight at home dating back to last season, while Harrah won seven straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
