Basketball Game Preview: Reedsville Panthers vs. Manitowoc Lutheran Lancers

Reedsville is 1-9 against Manitowoc Lutheran since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Reedsville Panthers are taking a road trip to face off against the Manitowoc Lutheran Lancers at 7:15 p.m.

It was a proper cat-fight when Reedsville challenged Howards Grove on Thursday. Reedsville came up short against Howards Grove, falling 62-40. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Meanwhile, Manitowoc Lutheran had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Eagles, posting a 79-38 win. The Lancers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Reedsville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Manitowoc Lutheran, their victory bumped their record up to 17-1.

Reedsville was dealt a bruising 76-48 loss at the hands of Manitowoc Lutheran when the teams last played back in January. Can Reedsville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
