Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Davidson). They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Rain Red Raiders on Friday, sneaking past 44-42. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 48-35 win the Red Raiders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2023.

Edward Harrison was his usual excellent self, rushing for 239 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.4 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 106.4 rushing yards per game. Davidson also got a significant boost from Chris Andrews, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 88 yards.

Davidson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 451 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2023.

Davidson's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7. As for Rain, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Davidson nor Rain have any future games scheduled.
